Dear members — Jack here, it’s writer’s edition time again. For the uninitiated, these editions are compendiums of various thoughts about the city region, insights into our reporting and ideas for possible articles. Today we’ve got all of the various ingredients that comprise life on this planet as we know it. There’s the good (a Liverpool charity using our clean air article in a push for climate justice), the bad (the constant shutting down of news outlets over the past few months) and the downright strange (the story of ‘The Lost Souls Alley’ — a horror escape room in Krakow where I got tasered against a wall in pitch black darkness).
