‘I want to stay here till I see bulldozers’
We meet the residents whose homes are being demolished in a landmark city centre development
Dear members — a landmark development in the Georgian Quarter will see an old estate demolished and replaced by new social housing. Mollie visited the tenants on Grove Street to hear their memories of growing up on the estate.
We also have a news briefing with an update from the RSPB on the state of the wetlands after the wildfire in the Wirral, more protests from Liverpool seafarers and some great Post Picks, including a talk on how Bootle might become “a town of the future”.
